Architectural rendering from S2K’s public project page. This depicts the proposed hotel, not a completed building.
A new rooftop restaurant and bar are among the plans for Canopy by Hilton in downtown Bozeman. The project brings another chapter to the neighborhood around Rouse and Babcock.
A future downtown dining destination
The developer’s public description includes 190 guest rooms, a two-story lobby and lounge, a signature rooftop restaurant and bar, and approximately 3,500 square feet of meeting and banquet space. For visitors who enjoy exploring Bozeman through its restaurants, the rooftop concept is a development to watch.
Menus, public dining access, reservation arrangements, and an opening date have not been confirmed in the sources linked here. We look forward to learning more as those details become public.
Construction is underway
The City of Bozeman’s June 2026 street report identifies the Canopy Hotel project near Rouse and Babcock, with Langlas listed as the contractor. It describes construction-related parking and sidewalk closures and estimates work continuing into early 2028. That is a construction estimate, rather than a confirmed hotel or restaurant opening date.
Part of our downtown neighborhood
The site is a short walk west from Vintage Estate at Church and Babcock, and an easy downtown walk from Loft503 at Church and Mendenhall. Once the dining venues open, they could offer another nearby option for an evening out while you enjoy the space and privacy of your own downtown stay.
For a visit before then, explore established nearby favorites such as Little Star Diner, Blackbird, and Tutti Bene. Reserve dinner ahead for weekends and MSU family celebrations, and follow posted pedestrian routes near construction.

A downtown place to come back to
Loft503 sleeps up to four, while Vintage Estate sleeps up to eight across its historic home and suites. For other group sizes, explore Vintage House, sleeping six, or Rouse House, sleeping two. Individual V1 and V2 bookings become available within 30 days of arrival when not already reserved as part of a larger stay.
We recommend booking early for popular weekends. Check Loft503 dates, check Vintage Estate dates, or browse all stays. Final availability and terms appear in the booking engine.
