Built circa 1881 for Daniel E. Rouse, who helped lay out Bozeman with John Bozeman and William J. Beall in 1864, this brick residence retains a tangible connection to the city’s beginnings. Its Gothic gable and stone-trimmed arches are part of its distinctive character.
