Bozeman’s airport is planning for its next chapter. The East Terminal Expansion is a multi-phase project designed to improve the passenger experience as the region grows.

A larger east terminal is taking shape

In its May 15, 2024 announcement, the Gallatin Airport Authority outlined plans for expanded baggage claim, a second security checkpoint, larger A Concourse waiting areas, and the ability to increase total gates from twelve to fifteen. The original announcement projected completion in 2030. These are planned improvements, not facilities this story claims are already open.

What construction means for your trip

The airport said temporary arrangements would support ongoing passenger and airline operations during construction.
