Not every Bozeman outing needs a mountain itinerary. Bogert Park offers a nearby change of pace: a little time outside, a picnic, or a relaxed stop during a downtown day.

A neighborhood park on South Church

The City of Bozeman lists Bogert Park at South Church Avenue and Bogert Place, south of Main Street. From Vintage Estate at Church and Babcock, continue south along Church toward the park. From Loft503 at Church and Mendenhall, the route continues south across Main Street. Use our neighborhood map to orient yourself and choose a walk that suits your group.

Leave some of the day unplanned

Pick up lunch, bring something to read, or give the family a break between downtown activities. A park visit can be the easy middle of a day that begins with coffee and ends with a restaurant reservation. Keep an eye on the city calendar if you prefer a quieter visit or want to find an event.

Swimming is a separate seasonal plan

Bogert Pool is an outdoor city facility at 325 South Church Avenue. Check the city’s current pool page for season dates, admission, swim sessions, and any closures. A walk to the park does not mean the pool is open, and park access should not be confused with pool admission.

Close to your downtown stay

One of the pleasures of staying in this neighborhood is being able to choose a small outing without giving it the entire day. Come back to the property when it suits you, settle onto the patio, or head out again for dinner. For organized gatherings or facility reservations at the park, contact the city directly.
